I've been obsessed with cryptozoology(the study of 'hidden' animals) for yeeears. Much love for cryptids, even though I haven't drawn any in a while. x3
The Jersey Devil or the Leed's Devil was always on of my favs. His legend came about in the 1700s when a woman living in the New Jersey Pine Barrens discovered that she was about to have her 13th child. She cursed the unborn babe, but when she did give birth she got a demon instead. It ate all of her other children then flew out through the chimney, only to spend the rest of its days in the Pine Barrens, eating people's pets, terrifying hikers, and being and all around heathen. :3
Drew this guy months ago and he just had to sit in my sketchbook until I could 'aquire' a small lightbox from school so I could transfer him to a sheet of bristol and color-fy him. x3
